Dear Madam, re A

I have duly received your letter respecting the above case, and thank you sincerely for all the kind help and interest which you have taken in the girl in question. Unfortunately, the Society's work being only intended for children, we cannot help such cases indefinitely, but no effort is spared to teach those coming under its care such work as they may be capable of doing, with a view to enabling them to earn their own livelihood. However, I will gladly submit the case to the Committee, and see whether you r suggestion is one that can be complied with.
Believe me

Yours very truly
E de M R Esq
