re J.

Dear Sir,

I understand the above who was the first case received under the Society's care, is one of your patients, and I am writing to ask whether you would be so kind as to favour me with your opinion as to his condition. It has been suggested as to whether it would be possible to obtain his admission into some Sanatorium or Hospital, as I gather he is coming to the end of his resources and requires constant care and attention, which he cannot well receive under present circumstances. We are naturally anxious to do our best to help him so far as it may be possible, and any information that you can give me as to his exact condition, and what course you would advise being taken, will be most helpful. Yours faithfully,

Dr. Swan. Assistant Secretary.
