Re F at W. Sussex County Asylum
Graylingwell, W. Chichester

The Senior Medical Assist. Officer gave me an interview. He said F is "Congenitally deficient" and never likely to recover. She has bowel trouble which is usual in cases of that kind. She has no self control whatever. The Dr. said she is very ill at present, has lost weight, and has got much worse during the last 6 months. The lungs are weak and there is a great tendency to "Tubercular Trouble" Should F get better the Dr. fears she will longer on in Consumption. The wife of the Vicar of [Emsden] visits F sometimes, also a lady from "Inglewood" Bournewealth. The Dr. would like some history of "Medical & otherwise." It is much more satisfactory in treating her case he considers.
