August 10th -/99

Dear Sir,
"G"

In March last you may perhaps remember that your Committee consented to receive this boy, but, unfortunately, owing to an outbreak of fever at the Home where the boy was staying, he could not then be sent. I now hear that the Doctor says that "G" is quite well and ready to leave at any time. Under the circumstances, I shall be glad to hear on what day he can be brought to your office with a view to be admitted into the House-Boy Brigade?

Yours very truly,
Mr. J.H. Kirby
