Dear Madam,

I am very much obliged to you for kindly writing so fully respecting the above case. Under the circumstances, I have no doubt that the Committee will be prepared to act on your suggestion, -- . As you are aware, The Society has now maintained the two boys in question for a period exceeding seven years as free cases, and as the mother's circumstances have apparently improved, it does not seem altogether right that the Society should continue to maintain them, when there are so many more pressing cases to consider.
