15th. October, 1900.

Dear Mrs. Stevenson,

Many thanks for your letter, since writing, however, I heard that the Master of our Home at Walsham thinks that he can make some arrangement for the boy W., so that in all probability we may not now have occasion to send him to Hedgerley. As regrds F., according to his casepaper it is definitely stated that he was born on the 24th. May, 1884, but as you will observe from the enclosed his father was abroad and the child himself when first received by us in 1895 was only 3 ft. 11 in. in height although 11 years of age. I am glad to hear that he continues to give you satisfaction.

Believe me,
Yours very truly,
([?]) E. de M. R.
