Funeral of E. Largely Attended - Other News of the Town.

Dracut, Aug. 29. - The funeral of E., the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. P., took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock [?] the [?] street and was very largely attended.

Rev. T. A. Carlson of the Hillside church conducted a brief but beautiful service at the house and among those present were all the little playmates and friends of the deceased as well as a large number of the friends of the family. Mrs. George Burns sang several selections.

The room where the body reposed in a beautiful little white casket was completely filled with flowers by the little friends of the deceased and many others, testifying their love and sympathy in a manner which was evidence of the little fellow's popularity among his playmates as well as the sorrow and sympathy felt for his parents and family in their sad bereavement.

Among the floral offerings were the following: Mound surmounted by dove, "Our E," by the family; wreath, Mrs. Ada Hamblett; wreath, Mrs. Elizabeth Coburn; spray sweet peas, Mrs. Joseph Hains; spray of asters, Miss Ruth W. Hills; spray of roses, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Linkbetter; spray of asters, Campbell brothers; basket of flowers, Mr. and Mrs. James J. McManmon; spray of asters and roses, Mr. and Mrs. John Collier; spray of roses, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Morgan; spray of sweet peas, Mr. and Mrs. As Stickney; mound of flowers, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hodges, Misses Ethea Hodges and Cora Vroom; spray of roses, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shaw and family; spray of asters, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Finacom and Charles Finacom; spray, Mrs. Richard Rhomberg; spray, Mrs. H. Torsey; spray of asters, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Hunting; sprays, Mrs.
