I thought you would like to see this letter which reached me yesterday morning. You may remember I asked your advice as to his disposal as owing to his feeblemindedness there was extreme difficulty in placing him. You decided that he had better be handed over to the Guardians, when just at the moment this opening, which I judged to be within the boy's capacity, occurred, and I gave him the chance.
