22nd December 1910.

Dear Sir,

Re J

I have to thank you for your further letter respecting the above- named lad, and also for the telegram reporting that he has been found and that he is now in the Llanelly Workhouse. As this is apparently the lad's first failure, I am today writing to the Superintendent of the Society's Standon Farm Home, being the nearest to Carmarthen, asking him to send for the lad immediately, and by the same post I am writing to the Master of the Workhouse to this effect. Unfortunately, it is not possible for him to return to the home from which he was placed, as they have no vacancy at the present time, but our Standon Home is intended for big boys, and I am hoping that after the lad has been there a month or so, the authorities may see their way to find him another situation. I have not written to the Police, so that perhaps you will be so good as to let them know what steps are being taken in the matter.

Believe me,

Yours very truly

Miss F.S. Williams
