I have this morning received a telegram from Miss Williams from Sergeant Lewis to the effect that the above-named lad is now in your workhouse, having recently run away form the situation in which the Society places him some time back. As I gather that you wish his removal as soon as possible, I have today written to the Superintendent of the Society's Standon Farm Home, instructing him to send for the lad immediately, so that I trust there may not be any delay in the matter

May I take this opportunity for kindly sheltering the lad
