Dear Miss Snowden
re A
On my making enquiries I find there is no truth in the statement that this girl's aunt is anxious to have her home. I do not think we can ask the authorities at Torquay to take one of your delicate girls as some little time ago as some little time ago we wanted them to take a delicate child and they declined. Under the circumstances I can only suggest trying to find another place for her, although as you say, you fear the result would be the same. If it is possible I should like the girl to be placed somewhere in the district of Exeter, so that you may be able to keep an eye on her.
Yours very truly
Sgd. E de M R
