25th September, 1902

Dear Sir,
re J

I regret very much to have to ask you to make immediate arrangements for this boy's removal from the Society's HOme at Bersted near Bognor. The Hon. Secretary of the Home informs me that he is very consumptive and should go to an open air treatment hospital at once.

Under these circumstances I am afraid there is no alternative but to ask you to take this step by communicating with the Rev. C.F. Mortlock, Bersted Vicarage, near Bognor, informing him on what day and at what time the lad will be called for at the Home.

Yours faithfully
E de M R

The Clerk,
Chertsey Union

Overwritten in pencil: copy.
