Dear Prebendary P,

re E.

I am very sorry to trouble you, but, as I understand that the Campden Trust has very kindly consented to defray the cost of apprenticing the above named girl to the dressmaking trade, I should much like to know whether there is any prospect of a suitable situation being found for her in Kensington in the near future. I am informed that Miss B. of Kensington Palace, the lady interested, is at present out of town. You will remember E. is an inmate of the Society's St. Nicholas' Cripples' Home at Pyrford, Surrey.

Believe me,
Yours sincerely,
