Dear Madam,

re E.

I regret very much to learn from the Hon. Secretary of the Society's St. Margaret's Home, Penkridge, that this girl is shortly leaving your service. In these circumstances, I shall be obliged if you will kindly arrange for "E." to come to London so that she may be placed in the Society's Home for Girls Out of Situations, Clapham, as a temporary measure. She will be met on arrival by one of our lady workers, and I shall be glad to have a few days' clear notice as to the day and hour to expect the girl. Please, however, do not select a Saturday.

Awaiting your reply,
I remain,
Yours faithfully,
(sgd) E. de M. R.

Miss Howe.
