Dear Madam,

re E.

I have the pleasure to inform you that this girl arrived quite safely on Monday last at Paddington, and conveyed to the Society's Home for Girls, 357, Clapham Road, London, S.W. by one of our lady workers. Had I known that you were anxious to hear of her safe arrival, we would of course have sent you a line, and am surprised that the girl herself did not send the postcards which I not were given to her.

I am sorry that you should have been put to the trouble of writing in the matter.

Yours very truly,

Miss H.
