re H
Mrs. [?] of St. George's Rd. Camberwell (Parish of St. George Camberwell) is a very respectable woman employed in the Camberwell Infirmary. Now that H is 14 she is anxious for his return & I can see no object of her proposal. One [?] the risks of the boy going to work in the Borough, but she is confident that friends will enable her to start her son well & eventually obtain employment for her in the Infirmary. Unless she heart to the contrary, the woman will go on Friday afternoon to Islington to fetch H & we ought to authorise the master to hand him over to her care. If anything should happen to delay the case a postcard to Mrs. [?] to that effect will be sufficient. She is right against the idea of his entering the Navy.
