C. 1st August, 1907.

Dear Sir,
re A.

I have to state, for the information of your Board, that this lad was yesterday transferred to the Society's Training Home for Boys, 119, Copenhagen Street, Islington, London, N., As the lad will be 14 years of age on the 30th instant, it was considered advisable by the local Committee that he should be transferred to a Home under a Master and where he will have more opportunity of learning a trade and eventually placed in the way of earning his own livelihood. In these circumstances, I trust your Board may still see their way to continue the contribution hitherto made for the boy's support, although the Home referred to is not certified.

Awaiting your reply,
I remain,
Yours faithfully
E de M R

The Clerk to the Guardians,
Devizes Board of Guardians.
