Dear Sir,
re A.

Referring to my letter of 23rd December last, I write to inform you that on the 8th inst the above named lad was placed in a situation with Mr. G, Tailor, of Holsworthy, Devon. The place would appear to be an excellent one in every respect, and I have every hope that A. may settle down happily and make satisfactory progress. He will receive commission, together with 2/- weekly and board and lodging.

Yours faithfully,
signature

The Clerk to the Guardians,
Devizes Union.
