Dear Miss Peter,
re A.

Thank you very much indeed for your letter to hand this morning, and for all the kind trouble that you are taking in the welfare of the above named lad. I am very pleased to learn that he has such a good friend in his new surroundings. I suppose the cork leg suggested would be a somewhat expensive item, but, if it is really considered necessary or advisable, I have no doubt that the Society might be able to render assistance in the matter. In the first instance, can you very kindly ascertain and let me know what the estimate cost of the instrument would be, if purchased in the district? In the meantime I will communicate with our Islington Home authorities on the subject.

Believe me, Yours very faithfully,
E de M Rudolf

Miss E. M. Peter,
Holsworthy
