C/C.

Dear Madam,
re J

As your son has expressed a great desire to become a Drummer boy in the Army, I shall be obliged if you will kindly sign the agreement on the back of the enclosed form and return it to me at your earliest convenience. I may add that the Society has sent a number of lads to the Gordon Boys' Home, and I think I may say without exception they have all done remarkably well, so that I do trust you will not stand in the way of your son's future welfare.

Yours faithfully,
E. de M. Rudolf, A.G.B.

Mrs. --

P.S. I enclose a stamped addressed envelope
Astley St. Charley, Lances
