Dear Sir

I am directed by the Guardians to state that they have received an application from the mother of E for permission to have him home soon, when she can place him in a good situation as he is no over 14 years of age. The Guardians having ascertained that Mrs. [?] is able to obtain a good situation for her son have decided to accede to her application, and direct me to communicate with you so as arrangements may be made for his return early in January. Please inform me what will be the most suitable day for his leaving the Home.

Yours truly
