Dacre House Home for Boys, Stoke on Trent

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire

(1941 - 1946)

There is very little information about this Home possibly because of the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 one year before the Home opened. In 1941 residents were evacuated to Stoke-on-Trent from Dacre Home, Church House, Llandulas, Abergele, Wales. The boys had originally been evacuated from Dacre House Home, Rock Ferry in 1939.
