This photograph shows Queen Elizabeth (wife of King George VI and later The Queen Mother) at the Society's annual London Bazaar of 1937. At the event she met several residents from the Pyrford Home for children with disabilities. The Queen took an interest in this area of the Society's work, and had earlier visited Pyrford in 1928 to meet the children.
