Title: Boys of Tattenhall Home that served in 1st Battalion (Prince of Wales') Berkshire Regiment
Date: Around 1906
Location: Tattenhall Home For Boys
Creator: Unknown, taken from Our Waifs and Strays, January 1906, page 188

Description:
Many of the Homes' boys and staff went to serve in the forces to fight for King and Country in both the First and Second World Wars. Our Waifs and Strays details this photograph as old boys serving in the in 1st Battalion (Prince of Wales') Berkshire Regiment - however this is probably an Edwardian misprint as no such regiment existed. In reality these old boys were probably enlisted in the Princess Charlotte of Wales's Royal Berkshire Regiment.
