The Rover League
Onwers of Dogs are asked to help this scheme by contributing something to the League

To all pets,

You may have heard that we have started a League for helping our masters and mistresses collect money for rebuilding the Home for disabled children at Byfleet. The League is to be called The Rover League, after me!

I wish you would help us get members, by doing tricks, or carrying a collecting box, for I am sure heaps of dogs and other animals would join if they only knew about it. Do tell your friends that all they have to do is to get their owners to undertake to pay 6d.a year for five years, to me, and they shall have the honour of being enrolled Members of The Rover League. If you also send 2d. you will also get a special Rover League badge, and if you write me a letter and send a picture it could get printed in this magazine!

Your Friend,
ROVER.

  Broad Clyst,
    Near Exeter.

(PS. If you click on me and my friends you’ll hear what we have to say!)
