Case 104. Letter from Miss Clark 12 April 1882View the Case Summary.
[The Wainholn] Dear Sir I am much pained to have to tell very sad news about M. boarded out here in your Society. She has been here 4 years - & as she is now 13. I was just preparing her outfit & hoping to get her into a situation. I allowed her to cease school last year when she had reached the VI standard & [arranged], that she should come up in the day & be trained in serious under our cook & housemaid. My mother at the same time relieve the Society of part of her board in consideration of Cross written text: & seems to be so [strangely] sudden. Yours faithfully Miss F.E. Clarke Overwritten in pencil: Move to Fareham?
