Now this is a very serious thing indeed to bring against me for when you tell my sister a thing like that you are inferring that she could not have stayed where she was before in cleanliness. Mrs Hutchon who she lived with & who has my little brother now is a very old friend of mine & most scrupulously clean in not one thing but everything so that I am positive when she came down to you she had nothing of that kind upon her whatever. Again she says nobody touches her hair or plaits it now she is with you. Now how can the child expect to be kept clean if nobody looks after her, going to a school & mixing
