but I took her, feeling sure that under the care of [?] & Miss Worley, she would be carefully trained and helped to be good. I am very sorry now that I had not insisted on her hair being cut off for she gave the horrid things to A. Miss Worley was told to use [paraffin] oil & comb but it is impossible with such long hair. from what we hear, M. told the other school children that she was going to run away as Miss Worley
