7th October, 1929. E & P/B/T. My Dear , I was indeed pleased to receive your letter and greatly interested in what you wrote. Your career has been a wonderful one and I can quite understand the doctor referring to you as a mystery man, but, as you say, God is good and we have much to thank Him for in the many men and women who by His help the Society has been able to bring to real joy and happiness. You know that I am always very pleased to hear from you and I hope that you will be able to send me satisfactory news of both health and progress for many years to come. with all good wishes.
