Case 230. Letter to J. 1 January 1930View the Case Summary.
1st January, 1930. S.C.B. My dear , I was very sorry indeed to receive your sad letter of the 29th ulto. and to hear of your troubles. It is, I know, very difficult to bear up always, but continue to put your trust in God and I am sure you will not be disappointed. I am very grateful to you for your subscription to the Order of the Good Shepard and enclose the official receipt herewith. In regard to your enquiry as to whether the Society could give you any work to do, do I understand that you wish to do more than you are doing at present, and if so do you think you are strong enough without causing your health to suffer? Have you any particular kind of work in view and what is the amount of you expenses? Please let me have this information
