cripple he cannot be punished like other boys. I think the best thing would be for someone (say Miss S.) to place the boy with someone in the country who keeps a general shop & pay them some small sum & let help in the shop in writing making up accounts etc for a further contribution to his [brain] &c. I do not like the idea of sending the boy adrift
