Case 4215

6. Letter from Miss Butler, St Saviour's Home 10 June 1896

View the Case Summary.

"wanting in intelligence". We have constantly felt if we must send her away on that account but she has shown great possibilities of improving & at times a wish to improve and is affectionate & much attached to her mother whose life has been somewhat raised I think by the knowledge that R. was being helped. We hear of her that she is now separated shortly from R's father, and is supporting herself respectably & persistently.

Since I had the sister's letter which I enclose I have paid for R.
