one- but also because the Revd. B. is much interested in the family, having attended the poor father in his last illness in Croydon Hospital, and assisted the widow so far as he has been able.

Mr. B. is a very kind friend to our boys, and has nominated a member of our Committee by the Vicar, Mr. Fisher, as one who has an excellent way with boys. He has just obtained a donation of five pounds for us from the Croydon Football Club "as part proceeds of their football charity match" the hopes that this will be an Annual grant.

Well! as you know, we are at present full, having 28 boys;
