would be a good thing to get him away from his mother, who is not very respectable and lives in a bad part of the Town. He has one fault which requires watching, a predilection for petty thieving, having been found out with things he had taken from the Matrons room. He has evidently been sorry for his offences, but the temptation has been too strong portion, however, out door healthy occupation would be we think the best thing for him, as it would never do to place him as a page in a family.

With regard to Mr. B., the builder, I had a letter from him in reply to one I sent enquiring whether he sent in his account to the effect that he did so, that is,
