I went yesterday to see Mr. Cross abt. little G. She was very nice abt. it & took in good part all I said. No doubt G. is a very peculiar child, & seems almost as if she had determined not to care for Mrs. C. or her husband. I also spoke to the school mistress who says she is rather troublesome & her to the rather often
