Case 5125. Letter from Standon Home 31 January 1890View the Case Summary.
cannot speak too highly of him. He spells well, and has passed the 6th Standard. He gained the silver watch this year, and the boys awarded him their prize. is a very honest steady boy but not so intelligent; he is good at figures, but not at spelling and reading. He passed the second standard in May last I doubt whether he is so suitable for Office work. As we shall have to report upon him for three years I should be glad if you can find him something permanent. Yours truly
