- The father is in a position to maintain them, but he is so ignorant and the stepmother so wicked that the children will in all probability be ruined boy & soul if left to them.
- 16.Can any payment for the children be guaranteed from any source? exclusive of their relatives, if so, by whom?

- The elder For one night, sent by Police on discovering her condition.
- 21. Have the children any affections of the limbs, joints, skin or eyes which may have the affect of preventing them from entering domestic services?
- No.
- 22. Are they subject to fits or have they ever had one? If so, state its nature. Are they subject to incontinence of urine?
- Not that I can ascertain.
- 23. Are they at present affected with any infectious or contagious disease, or with scrofula requiring medical treatment?
- No.
- 24. Have they had scarlet fever, or whooping cough or measles, or small pox? If not the latter, have they been vaccinated?
- They have had sc. fever & measles. yes.
- 25. Is their general health good, and have they average mental capacity?
- yes yes
- 26. Are their parents, grandparents or next of kin, willing to sign an agreement to commit them wholly to the care of the Managers of the Home, to obey the rules in force, and to permit the said children when fully trained to be sent to any situation in the United Kingdom which may be obtained for it by the Committee?
- The father has signed an agreement to leave the children in the Home to which they may be sent.
