22nd December 1910.

Dear Sir,

Re J

I herewith enclose copies of the letters and a telegram, received from the lady interested in the above-named lad, from which you will gather that he has recently run away from his situation, and is at present in the Llanelly Workhouse. As, unfortunately, it is not possible for J to return to Sampford Peverell, the Home from which he was placed, I shall be obliged if you will make arrangements for him to be received into the Standon Home, by sending someone at once to the Workhouse for the lad. I have informed the Master of the Workhouse that he will be removed as soon as possible, so that I trust that it may be convenient for you to send for him on receipt of this letter. I shall also take this opportunity of enclosing copy of the lad's casepaper, and shall be obliged if you will be so good as to explain to the Secretary that it was in order to save delay, and the case being urgent we wrote direct to you on the matter.

Yours faithfully

The Master
