Mrs Campbell Thourow has directed the Matron to speak to Mr. Wade tomorrow about receiving J and has written to him herself to the same effect.

I am sorry to say you have not yet succeeded in meeting with an assistant Matron though we hope we have heard of a woman who will do. We have kept on the ex-policeman caretaker for a few more days, as he is most valuable in every way, and can turn his hand to anything. Of course there [finishes]
