many things to be considered, & eventualities to be guarded against by definite agreement. Perhaps I may as well say that I think the drawbacks to this course are greater than anyone could tell from merely visiting on one side we have a low little court, from which bad language is constantly heard by the children, even when they are in bed at night - the street behind is low, & the lowest people in Exeter come down singing & shouting till late at night, past our house most nights. The only available Church School is down in a most stuffy hole, in a little street on [?]level, & they descend to it by steep steps.
