8th June, 1909.
C/C.

Dear Sir,

re E.

Referring to my letter of the 1st inst, I beg to inform you that I have this morning heard from this girl's Mistress to the effect that she is leaving her service on Monday next, the 14th inst, and I understand from this lady that she has already advertised with a view to finding the girl another situation, so that on the event of the girl securing another place in the meantime, she will, in all probability, be sent direct. Of course if the girl is not successful, she will, as a temporary measure [measure], be transferred to our Home at 357, Clapham Road, London, S.W. as already mentioned. I trust this will meet with your Board's approval.

Yours faithfully,
( (sgd) E. de M. R.

The Clerk to the Guardians,
Cannock Union.
