8th December, 1902
Dear Madam,
re J
I have been obliged to send a telegram today asking you to kindly postpone sending the above boy to Birmingham tomorrow, as previously arranged. I have just heard from the authorities of the Society's Wrexham Home, asking that none of the boys may be sent until Thursday next the 11th inst. I shall therefore be obliged if you will kindly see that the child is sent to Birmingham (Snow Hill) on the day mentioned by the same train, in order that he may meet the Society's Agent, Mr. Williams, at 1.45. I am sorry at having to postpone the arrangement, and shall be obliged if you will let me have a fine to the effect that the boy will be taken to Birmingham as arranged.
Yours truly
(sd.) E. de M.R.
Mrs. O'B
