9th March 1903
Dear Miss Fenwicke,
Do you think that there is any possibility of your being able to take the little girl particulars of whose case I enclose. It is a very sad one in may respects and the clergyman interested in particularly anxious that the child should not be pleased too far away. If, therefore, you can see your way to make room for her I shall indeed be grateful.

RE PAYMENTS FOR H AND [?]
You will see from the enclosed list of payments received at this office that it is very clear that the father according to our accounts has only made his payments in respect of his children up to the 31st December 1901. I cannot, therefore, reconcile the Matron's statement that he has paid up to the end of last year, unless the Treasurer should have any money in hand not remitted to headquarters
Yours very truly
E de M R
