Case 94224. Letter from Hemel Hempstead including note of M's health 6 December 1895View the Case Summary.
Dear Mr. Rudolf You will notice on the monthly Report that M., who was out in service, has been readmitted to the Home on account of illness - She was a patient at our West Herts Infirmary with Gastric Ulcer, but is now making a good, though slow, recovery. The doctor recommends that she should remain quietly at the Home till after Christmas & then go to the seaside for a change of air. We have the promise of a convalescent Home Letter for her, & her mistress is willing to receive her back again after her return from the Convalescent Home at S. Leonards. She is very well behaved, & a help to the Matron in the way of example & influence, so that there is no objection to her remaining at the Home. We have now no vacant bed at this Home. Believe me, Overwritten in blue: Please put with C.P.
