Case 949823. Copy letter from the Revd Edward Rudolf to the Islington Home discussing the possibility of asking the Devizes Guardians to continue contributing to A's maintenance 25 April 1910View the Case Summary.
25th April, 1910. C/F.C. Thank you for sending me the invoice for the above named lad's bucket leg, which I am returning herewith, as I do not think the Devizes Guardians will require to see it. Should, however, they ask for the same, I can then obtain it from you. As the Devizes Guardians have only undertaken to pay for the boy's maintenance up to March last, I shall be glad if you will let me know how he is now progressing and when you hope he will be capable of undertaking a situation. Is A. earning anything towards the cost of his keep, and do you think I can ask the Guardians to still continue their contribution, having regard to his age? Yours faithfully, Mr. J. G.
