10th May, 1911. C/F.C. I now have pleasure in sending you herewith thirty (30) of your "Letters" which I have so far obtained for use on behalf of the above named two children, who you will remember each require a new cork leg. I shall be glad if you will apply 15 "Letters" to each case, as this, I understand, will enable you to give the order at once for both instruments. Perhaps you will let me know that this is in order? I also return herewith your certificate in respect of E., and shall be grateful if you can kindly grant an extension of time to enable me to secure the additional 15 "Letters" required in her case. I am very anxious to do this, although I fear some difficulty may be experienced. As regards A., I will endeavour to arrange for the balance required to me the cost of his cork leg to be paid in cash, and perhaps, therefore, you will let me/ Overwritten in pencil: Copy
