There is very little information available about this Home owing to the Second World War and the Home's short duration.

In 1940 residents were evacuated from St Nicholas' Home for Girls, Lowestoft to St Nicholas', Torquay. They were placed in a house opposite St Faith's, the existing Home for Girls in Torquay.

In 1942 the Home closed and most residents were sent to St Faith's.
