14. Letter from E. to Miss J. 31 August 1931

View the Case Summary.

I do hope you are feeling better for you little change & rest at Margate. I am afraid you didn't have very nice weather, also Mary the change would do her good, she seemed a little run down when we were there.

I had a letter from dear Miss E. she told me, her & Miss M. here at your house at Bournemouth & also that the operation had been put off. She mentioned a Dr. in London who was clever with the eyes. I trust he will be able to do what is best for her. She will be pleased to see you again when you get back.

Miss Bates sends her kind love to you and hopes you are feeling a little stronger.

Once again please accept my very sincere thanks for what you have done for me.

With my love. Always yours respectfully N.

P.S. I am writing by the post to the Secretary, as you wish me to.
God bless you. N.
