Case 18923. Letter from Miss J. 16 September 1931View the Case Summary.
S/C/L. 16th September, 1931. Dear Madam, I have now had an opportunity of searching our records and am sorry to say that we have absolutely no information whatever of the previous history of E. Apparently at the time she was received under the care of the Society we had not then adopted the application form which is in use to-day. What we had in those days was a form of agreement made between Prebendary Rudolf, who was then a layman, and the next of kin. This agreement in the case of E. does not even give the address of the parents. All it states is that their names are W. and E. The agreement was witnessed by Arthur Theo Tupper and is dated 13th August, 1883. I am very Overwritten in black: [?]
