Dear Mr. Roxby

I hope you will not mind my troubling you, but shall be very grateful if you can help or advise in regard to the above named girl. She was first received under the society's care in 1892, at the age of six, and entered service in 1903. F kept her first situation for several years and gave every satisfaction, but in 1907 she became very depressed for some reason eventually attempting to commit suicide. She was then certified as being insane and sent to an Asylum.

For some time past F has been an inmate of Fisherton House, Salisbury (which I understand is a Lunatic Asylum), and I have just heard from the Medical Superintendent to the effect that he thinks she might be discharged. He further writes as follows :-
"I think that working under somebody who could keep an eye on her, she should do all right. She is somewhat weakminded undoubtedly, but is not now emotional, nor does she show suicidal tendency at all, and she never has been suicidal since she was admitted here. I think it is important
